About Me

I’ve struggled with depression and anxiety since childhood. I knew there was something different about me, but because I didn’t know what it was and didn’t have the support I needed, I thought something was wrong with me. It wasn’t until adulthood that I found out that my brain just works differently than other people’s because of my mental illnesses.

Now that I’ve embraced who I am and I’m living authentically without apology, it has become my mission to help others understand who they are so they can live authentic, happy, and healthy lives just as they are without changing for others’ expectations. One way I do this is through the stories I tell about people who have the same kinds of struggles I have had, who are living authentically just as they are.

I’d love to hear from you! I can be reached through my Contact Page.
